PHOENIX STREET - THE HILL SINGLE LAUNCH w/ Toadstool, Goodwin & Erica Avenue

Phoenix Street are an ambitious rock quartet. They sing lyrics in multiple languages, swerve between time signatures and have been pumping out high energy sets for Northside punters since their first gig in June. Following a huge headliner at the Motley Bauhaus in August which drew attention from Beat Magazine and the weekly Triple J ‘What’s On’ bulletin, the launch of their debut single ‘The Hill’ at the Gaso downstairs marks the beginning of their studio career. In support they are reinforced by an arsenal of local up and comers who share similarly bold trajectories. Beyond the dulcet vocal harmonies and folk charm of Erica Avenue, Toadstool bring the flair and nonchalance of 70s rock and roll with a modern twist, while Goodwin are filling band rooms with their powerful riffs and growing fanbase. All four groups on this bill are already selling out their own shows. This will be no exception.
